• To receive the SafeGolf accreditation a club must put in place safeguarding policies and procedures, training and DBS checks, and have a Club Welfare Officer

• Shifnal Golf Club has been a SafeGolf club since November 2020

• From April 2021 SafeGolf accreditation was made part of the England Golf affiliation process
